AAC refers to communication systems, skills and strategies that replace or support spoken words. This includes signs, communication books, AAC devices and apps on the tablet.
People with difficulties communicating using speech (non-speaking / minimally speaking / speech & language delay) will benefit from using AAC communication supports.
