Our Team

Deborah has practised in Malaysia and Singapore, providing speech-language intervention in acute and community settings since 2014. She obtained her ATP certification from the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) in 2018. She is a member of the Malaysian Association of Speech-Language and Hearing (MASH) and serves as a leader in the AAC special interest group.

Deborah specialises in AAC and supports individuals with complex communication needs and their community on integrating AAC systems into their natural environments to empower them to communicate effectively. She also provides AAC training to professionals and caregivers. In addition, Deborah has published an "AAC for Caregivers Manual (2019)" and co-authored a chapter in the book titled "Fundamentals of AAC: A Case-Based Approach to Enhancing Communication (2023)". 

Deborah is a mom of two kids, enjoys cooking and loves travelling. She is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.

An engineer by training, Simon has also been involved in research and education. He is passionate about enabling those without a voice to access their communication through low and high tech solutions.

Simon is married to Deborah, loves good food and enjoys playing the piano.
